The 2020 Queen's Beasts - White Lion of Mortimer 1oz Silver ProofThe Reverse, by Jody Clark (who designed both sides of the coin), shows the White Lion of Mortimer standing by a shield. The shield has a white rose of the House of York on top of a shining Sun, as this beast comes from Edward IV, the first of the Yorkist kings.
The Obverse shows a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark.The coin shown is the Silver Proof 1oz. The one ounce coin is the smallest silver coin in the White Lion of Mortimer series.
